Just look at some of the benefits:

Away from home all day - Can you "hold it" all day long?  This is what you ask your little dog to do when you cannot be there to take her outside.  Long days at the office, delays in traffic, or unexpected schedule changes?  Your dog will be okay and you don't have to worry!

Rainy Weather - How many times have you huddled under an umbrella while your little dog gets soaking wet just to go outside and relieve himself?  Then, his little muddy paw prints leave stains on your nice carpet or on the sofa?

Cold Weather – There’s nothing like a freezing "wake-up call" to start your day!  Even if you send your little dog outside by herself, don't you just hate to see her come back inside shivering from head to tail?

Morning sleep-in time - Wouldn't it be nice to sleep in sometimes, without having to get out of that comfy bed, stumble to the door, and walk your dog?

Menacing larger dogs - Have you, or your little dog, been scared out of your wits by larger dogs in your neighborhood?  I had to wrangle with a pit bull once that tried to snatch Gracie from my arms (we both escaped without injury).

Outside Dangers - Little dogs face a variety of dangers outside; even an insect sting can be deadly for a tiny dog.  Predatory birds can easily pick up a tiny dog and carry it away.  I had to fight off a giant hawk in my own back yard when it tried to grab Lucy one day (the hawk lost).
